The One Day Startup is an event designed for Duke University students that would like to start a company. The goal is to demystify the "startup process" and help students realize some of the key steps it takes to start a company. Students will leave the session with a clearer path to creating a startup.

This session is being led by Jonathan Gindes '03, Co-founder and CFO of Affinergy, and Taylor Mingos '07, Founder and CEO of Shoeboxed.com.

Unconference begins - Open Session with several parallel breakout talks.

Unconference: Breakout sessions that run in parallel, small groups and larger groups. Pitch a topic, sign-up for a topic, and join a workshop on a topic. Goal is to provide hands on help in small format to tackle specific issues with entrepreneurs.
